Fozelékfaló Ételbár, an eatery frequented by many locals
It serves Fozelék, a national dish, and our guidebook says, "if you have not tried it, you have not officially been to Hungary".. :)
Fozelék is a cross between a soup and a stew (reminds me of some sort of gruel), and comes with several varieties. This is the spinach version. There are peas, potatoes, chicken Fozelék etc as well
Of course, they serve other foods to go with your Fozelék. There are Hungarian crepes (palacsinta) too
Back at Ferihegy airport :(
Right on the very last day, just before going to the airport, we finally found this Turó Rudi, a chocolate covered cream-cheese bar. This very Hungarian sweets is loved by locals and supposedly only found in Hungary.
