Travel Writing

I maintain 2 travel blogs - Roving Light TravelPhotoBlog and Really Random Roving Ramblings. The former is a blog that introduces beautiful (typically off-the-beaten-track) destinations that photographers everywhere would love, and the latter is one that just shares my thoughts/musings and interesting stuff about travel. Aside from my blogs, I do write travel articles for magazines and newspapers as well. On some occasions, I do reviews as well.

I am a regular contributor to the travel supplements in our national newspaper, The Straits Times, and these include the NATAS supplements. Some of them can be found online in their online portal (You can search for my name there).

Here's a few snapshots of some of the published articles.

I am also a contributor and a 'featured traveler' for Tripzilla, an online travel portal and magazine. My profile and articles can be found here.

I've also worked with various agencies for paid or sponsored work, eg I have :
  • Gone on a blogger familiarisation trip to Kota Kinabalu
  • Reviewed a boutique hostel in Singapore.
  • Tested and reviewed online travel-related cashback program

Other than that, below are some writing I've done in the early years.
